How to prepare for your appointment
Important information
Make sure to start medication (SUCH AS VALTREX) 24 prior to appointment if you are prone to fever blisters or cold sores. This procedure activates the virus and your chances of getting a breakout are high if you don't start medication before the procedure.
Please HYDRATE! Drink lots of water as this will reduce dryness on your lips.
Please begin exfoliating (48 hours prior) with a lip scrub followed by a lip treatment or mask.
Lip fillers must be done at least 2 weeks prior to procedure.
Please avoid the following 24 hours before your appointment: no alcohol, no caffeine, no aspirin or ibuprofen, no fish oil, no niacin, no vitamin E!
